Alaska Legislators are back in Juneau

Hello everyone -

As our legislators are returning to Juneau this week for their session, we have emailed our dossier to our region's Senator, Donny Olson, and our Representative, Neal Foster. 

Even though the session doesn't technically begin until tomorrow, we're happy to let everyone know that we received an email from Neal Foster's office. I'm going to share that email below. I don't anticipate any significant updates over the next few days, but Sarah and I have a bunch of irons in the fire at the moment, so we'll see which one heats up next. Thanks for reaching out to us and for all the work you are doing on the Musk Ox issue.  Our office will be checking in with Fish and Game on the Requested Solutions listed in your attachment.  We’ll be asking them:

If they are already considering any of these and if so where they are at in the process
Which ones would require statutory changes
Which ones they’d need a capital/operating component.
