Progress Update: Call for Adoption Pause Reaches Newham Council Leadership.

On 17 October 2025, Cllr Mehmood Mirza, Leader of the Opposition for the London Borough of Newham, confirmed that he has written to the Chief Executive requesting that the adoption process be paused pending further review, following messages from concerned residents.
