As a resident living in this area, I am deeply concerned about its proximity, being less than half a mile from our homes, apartments, condos, townhomes, preschools, colleges, parks, sports fields, the Broncos training center, and valued bike trails. This is not just about preserving our peace and quiet; it's about safeguarding the heart of our community where families, children, students, pets, wildlife, and even pollinators like bees flourish.
The potential impacts are numerous and significant. The data center will demand massive amounts of electricity and water, increasing utility costs and exacerbating current issues during times of drought. The constant noise and heat emissions from such a facility threaten to disrupt the tranquility of our neighborhoods. It's predicted that heavy traffic will swarm our already busy roads, putting a strain on infrastructure and risking our safety.
