Susan van der Roest and I had a meeting with Alvaro Nunez (Code Enforcement Manager of Santa Ana) on 10/9.

The outside brick portion of the wall is complete, but the inside soundproofing portion is not yet complete. The city has to approve of this step in order to sign off the permit. The progress seems to be moving along, but there is no "due date".
We are waiting until the wall is 100% complete to assess the sound quality & to see if the noise levels are suitable for our quiet cul de sac. We urge neighbors to take videos of any loud or strange noises coming from 901 so that we have documentation in case we need to pursue any further action with The Noise.
City owned Gate: Alvaro and Minh Thai believe that someone from the city is continuing to open the black gate for the 901 building, but they do not know who it is. We are hoping to have the mystery solved by the next meeting. We suggested that the city should have a neighborhood point of contact so that we are always informed when the gate is going to be in use.
