This was delivered to a full meeting of Basingstoke Council on 14th October. The Planning Committee then met on the 27th October and REFUSED the application by developers to build a gigantic warehouse on J7M3. This would have meant the destruction of the Oakdown Oaks. 

Tree Preservations Orders have now been placed temporarily on the oaks and it is hoped that this will lead to their full protection in the future.
