Break the silence, President

Dear President, Assuming the plaint on change.org as personal assault and slandering the plaintiff have created confusion in the mind of those you addressed your mail. Reply to it, aimed to clear that confusion, will inevitably be different in tone and tenor from the complaint submitted as per the rules of F F S I. Please pardon me for that distinction. Your note reveals that you and your colleagues are losing peace of mind over the apprehension that you may lose the office you have accomplished, chasing. Maybe, your worry is you are very well exposed. Instead of defending your deeds with facts, you chose to personally assail the petitioner. It would have been more than enough, if you had answered the queries in the petitioner’s previous mail about the fairness of the measures taken by the President of F F S I on the complaint Sarga had submitted. Instead of doing that, you besmirched the office of the President by slandering the petitioner, using crude expressions and uncouth allegations. We wanted the issue to be sincerely solved within the four walls of our house. That is why the complaint was raised in accordance with the Federation’s Rules and Regulations 4d(iv): no society shall approach a court of law or any other authority for redress of any dispute, grievance against the Federation until and unless all means and avenues available within the Federation for redress of such dispute, grievance have been fully explored. When justice was denied in that case, it was for the same reason, the complainant approached the Federation, dissenting with the report of the Enquiry Commission and pleading to review the order issued by the President who acknowledged the report of a fictitious investigation. You have been intolerant since you received the complaint. Upon the petitioner’s insistence, when you embarked on actions after almost a year, they were all against the rules, regulations and precedents. We bore all those violations with immense patience, because we have tremendous respect for the organization with glorious goals founded by our forerunners and because of our unshakeable faith in democratic ways. The communiqués we received from you, the General Secretary and the Enquiry Committee were in substance the proof that the Federation was of the stand that, since the beginning, the complainant had done some crime and that the alleged must be saved. The national Treasurer Sri.Ramamoorthy Many’s and our doubt as to how could the accused office representatives become witnesses in the investigation is still to be dispelled. Based on the right to review any order of any seat of justice, we sent you a plea to review the flaws in your actions. You ignored it, without even acknowledging the receipt of such a plea. Although an appeal was presented to the Central Council, the Federation’s highest and appellate authority, through the Central Office, it also met with the same fate as the plea for review. Then we wanted to contact each member of the Central Council individually. With that aim, when we sought their communication addresses, not only there was no reply but our attempt was also thwarted. We waited two years for an equitable solution for a complaint. When the Federation keeps silent for such a long time, how do we describe it other than despotic ways! It was when our complaint was brutally killed by the very same attitude of the Federation that I took the issue to the public. Nothing deters me, as the signatory of that complaint, in reaching out to the public. Knowing that very well, you alleged that I had shared it with those who have no concern in the issue. May the public be the judge of your allegation! As per Rule 12 and 13(c), when the Central Council, the highest body of the Federation, is constituted, the members who have been alleged to be illegitimately elected should not be a part of it. Bypassing the rule and dismissing our plea you accommodated them. Quite paradoxically, you even gifted a place in the Rules Amendment Committee to one, who was under scanner for violating the F F S I’s rule. Thus ignoring our complaint and making the whole proceedings on it mere mockery, you saved some skins. You and your colleagues were very well hosted while in Trivandrum (13-15 June 2015), in return for that saving act. Unable to rebut the afore-mentioned facts with facts, when you try to demoralize the complainant by unfounded vituperation, you are getting further exposed. You need not concern yourself with the plaintiff’s personal grievances or his glory which you allege as not being shared. Wish you profound peace of mind.
