Thank you so much for signing and sharing this petition.  Twane and his family are so grateful for all the support.

It is so important that we get as many signatures as possible for this
cause.  The government says that deportation is not meant to be a
punishment but that deportation is in the public interest. Every signature sends a strong message to the government that it is not in the public interest to deport a former soldier of the British army - especially when all his family are in the UK.  In fact, it puts
national security at risk as Commonwealth soldiers will not join the army if there is any chance they will be deported at the end of their service.
