Stop the deportation of Maedeh M. and her children

Stop the deportation of Maedeh M. and her children
The Issue
Maedeh M. is a mother of two young children who has lived in Sweden for the past three years. Through hard work, determination, and resilience, she has built a stable life for her family. She founded her own registered company, fully supports her children without financial assistance from the state, and has integrated into Swedish society with dignity and independence.
Despite her efforts, Maedeh M. and her children now face deportation to a country where they are at serious risk of harm. The threats they fled are still real and ongoing. Returning them would not only expose them to life-threatening danger but would also destroy the only safe and stable life her children have ever known.
During her first year in Sweden, Maedeh M. lived in a refugee camp and received basic support. Since then, she has become completely self-sufficient, contributing to society and raising her children without public aid.
Deporting a family that has shown strength, self-reliance, and the will to contribute contradicts Sweden’s humanitarian values and international obligations.
We urge the Swedish Migration Agency to stop the deportation of Maedeh M. and her children, and to re-evaluate their case with full consideration of the risks they face.
