Yesterday, April 5th, 2018, was a key date for Catalan President Carles Puigdemont but also for all Catalan exiled politicians and political prisoners in Madrid. The German court said Puigdemont cannot be extradited for rebellion charge because the necessary violence for such a crime never existed. The fact is that the German court supports the initial position of this petition. Now we celebrate that Puigdemont is released on bail. However, nothing changes. This petition continues because the extradition proceeding continues on a corruption charge. Now this petition is even stronger because corruption is, in words of the Spanish PM Mariano Rajoy and the Minister of Finances, nonexistent. Follow the link below to watch M.
