Good Evening Supporters of Webb Shadle Public Library, 

Ever wondered why your support matters so much? Without these vital funds, our library's operational budget will be stretched thin, impacting our ability to acquire new books. We'll be forced to pick and choose where our budget get's used which will likely leave little room for new book purchases.

After all the hard work invested last year to get accreditation from the State of Iowa last year, our progress hangs in the balance. Failure to acquire new books jeopardizes our compliance with State Library Association standards. Procuring new books represents a significant financial strain on our library.

To confront this challenge, we've been appealing for donations of new books through our Amazon wishlist. We still need 24 more books before our summer reading program kicks off on May 22nd. When you purchase a book from our wishlist, it's sent directly to us, streamlining the process. Plus, as a token of our gratitude, donated books come with a special plaque bearing your name inside.
