Stop the Decline and Revitalise Aldermoor Playground

Stop the Decline and Revitalise Aldermoor Playground
The Issue
Dear neighbours,
Our local playground has long been a treasured space where our children can play, learn, and grow. Unfortunately, it has fallen into disrepair due to neglect by Trustgreen, the maintenance firm responsible for its upkeep. This neglect not only compromises the safety and enjoyment of our children but also reflects poorly on our community.
Over the past two years, we have witnessed a decline in the park's facilities. Key attractions such as the swings, net-swing, seesaw, and zip-line have been removed and not replaced. Additionally, the safety self-closing gates are no longer functional.
We firmly believe that every child deserves a safe and well-maintained play area. Therefore, we are launching this petition to bring these issues to the attention of our local council. By signing this petition, you will join your neighbors in urging the council to encourage Trustgreen to:
- Repair existing facilities promptly.
- Replace the amenities that have been lost.
- Ensure the park is safe and enjoyable for all children.
Your support is vital in ensuring that our playground remains a vibrant and secure space for our children. Together, we can make a difference and create a better environment for our community.
This effort is being supported by the local ward Councillors John McNicholas and Rupinder Singh, who, if this petition is successful. will bring this issue to the attention of the council during the next meeting in two weeks time.
Please sign this petition and share it with your friends and neighbors. Let's unite to revitalise our playground and provide our children with the play area they deserve.
PLEASE NOTE! - The Change.org petition will not be recognized by Coventry City Council, as it does not adhere to their official process. To ensure your support is acknowledged, please sign this parallel petition, which complies with the council's e-petition guidelines.
