10,000 SIGNATURES AND COUNTING!

Thank you to everyone who has signed, shared, emailed, called, and spoken out. Together, we have now surpassed 10,000 signatures, sending a clear message that the residents of Pittsburg and surrounding communities want their voices heard.

As a reminder, tomorrow's City Council meeting is still on, and we encourage everyone who can attend to come prepared and ready to speak. Our immediate goal is simple: we want the City of Pittsburg to formally address the Pittsburg Technology Park/Data Center proposal by placing it on a future City Council agenda or scheduling a dedicated public meeting to discuss the growing concerns being raised by residents.

This movement is about transparency, accountability, and ensuring the community has a meaningful opportunity to participate in decisions that could impact Pittsburg for generations to come.

Community Reminders Regarding Public Participation:

• Individuals are not allowed to disrupt meetings inside the council chambers. This means no signs, no outbursts, and no interruptions. Residents may speak during public comment periods and agenda items as permitted by meeting rules.

• Individuals may assemble outside the chambers but must not block or impede the flow of people entering or leaving the building.

• Individuals may gather outside City Hall with signs and other materials. However, please do not block entrances, exits, or pedestrian pathways, and do not use amplified sound devices such as bullhorns during the meeting.

We ask everyone to remain respectful, organized, and focused. The strength of this movement comes from our ability to show up, speak,  and demonstrate the widespread concern that exists throughout our community.

Please continue sharing this petition, talking with your neighbors, contacting City Council members, and spreading information throughout our community. Pittsburg and the surrounding areas are home to people from many different cultures and backgrounds. If possible, help share information in other languages so that everyone has an opportunity to learn about this issue and participate in the conversation.

The momentum is growing. Let's continue standing together and making sure our community's voice is heard.

See you at City Hall!
