We finally have an update...

A resident was successful in getting a reply from DFI and has sent us the below letter dated 1st Sept. It states the works have been halted, for now. This was thanks to feedback received from local residents, business owners, youth groups etc.

Well done to you all and thank you for your help.

The letter also states the halting of works is to allow for more formal consultation. This is all we were asking for so hopefully proper consultation is what we will get.
