Prior to our interview with Global Okanagan going on air, I learned that BC Timber Sales (BCTS) responded to our Global Okanagan media contact and stated "At this point there is no plan to harvest. This is an initial assessment to determine the potential for harvest. Any planning would require First Nations consultation and public engagement prior to a determination." 

Those are some nice words; however they seem to conflict with this statement that BCTS sent in a letter dated March 30, 2023 to Tim and a few other property owners adjacent to the proposed cut block: "BCTS plans to prepare and develop 1 new cut blocks [sic] totalling 23.4 hectares and associated roads that may affect your interests." In that letter, they provided a link to review the location of the proposed development, which Tim was then able to map and identify as directly adjacent to his and others' properties.

So something is not adding up, BCTS.
