Sadly, we also need to share something disturbing. Our campaign team recently received anonymous messages containing graphic sexual comments directed at us. This is not only degrading harassment, but also reveals the unsafe and inappropriate culture surrounding Fiona’s Tea Room.

The comments came from an account that joined in a thread where Fiona’s sister and her sister’s partner were also actively commenting. A previously regular customer has since told us that the language and tone are highly consistent with Jon, who works at the tea room and is often around children. If true, this raises very serious concerns.

Whether anonymous or not, this kind of behaviour is appalling. It will not silence us, it only makes us more determined to keep fighting for the rabbits who cannot speak for themselves.
