With your help our campaign is beginning to get noticed ...
An article about the project was published in Saturday's edition of i newspaper, with more stories to follow in the UK 7 French press over the coming days (watch this space).
We have now reached over 900 signatures in 4 days. Among those lending their support to this campaign have been the families of Col. Dawson, C/O 4 Commando, Capt. Philippe Kieffer, C/O French troops of 4 Commando, Bill Millin, the D-Day piper, and Maj. John Howard, Ox & Bucks LI, Pegasus Bridge.
But we need one more push to get over 1000 signatures by this Thursday, 6 June, the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
How can I help? Please spread the word by sharing among your networks on social media. So far, we have done well by word-of-mouth, but we need the campaign to go viral, to gain a momentum of it's own. Any Twitter/X/Instagram experts out there - we need you!
With my sincere thanks for your continued support,
Frank Churchill
