Why This Petition Matters

San Diego’s Family Court Services (FCS) is destroying families through corruption, bias, and procedural misconduct that has led to countless children being removed from loving parents without fair investigations.

Parents—especially mothers—have lost custody due to a broken system that rubber-stamps biased reports, ignores critical evidence, and shields one parent from scrutiny while targeting the other.

The voices of our children are being silenced, and their well-being is being ignored in favor of a court system that prioritizes maintaining outdated rulings over truth and fairness.

We are demanding an immediate investigation, policy reforms, and full accountability for the harm that FCS has caused to children and parents in San Diego County.

THE PROBLEM: SYSTEMIC BIAS AND NEGLIGENCE IN FAMILY COURT SERVICES (FCS)

💔 Unfair Custody Evaluations

• FCS systematically favors one parent while discrediting the other, without conducting fair, impartial investigations.

• Critical evidence—including allegations of neglect, emotional abuse, and manipulation—is ignored or dismissed without investigation.

 

💔 Children’s Best Interests Are Ignored

• Kids are being forced into unhealthy, harmful custody arrangements because FCS refuses to investigate parental alienation and coercion.

• When children express fear, anxiety, or distress about their custodial parent, FCS twists their statements or omits them completely.

 

💔 Fraudulent & Copy-Paste Evaluations

• Many parents have found that FCS reports are copy-pasted year after year with no fresh assessment or fair reconsideration.

• One parent is scrutinized disproportionately, while the other’s statements are blindly accepted.

 

💔 Family Court is Covering Up This Corruption

• Judges rely on these biased FCS reports without questioning their validity.

• Parents who speak out or challenge these reports are punished with further restrictions, less parenting time, and even loss of custody.

This is a clear violation of due process, parental rights, and children’s rights—and the system is not being held accountable.

 

WHAT WE DEMAND

✅ A full external investigation into San Diego Family Court Services (FCS) by an independent, outside agency.

✅ Accountability for biased FCS counselors who have repeatedly issued unfair, damaging custody recommendations.

✅ A statewide audit of past FCS custody reports to identify patterns of misconduct and bias.

✅ New laws requiring FCS transparency and oversight, including:

• Mandatory recording of all custody evaluation interviews to prevent false reporting.

• Independent child advocates in all high-conflict cases to ensure children’s voices are not manipulated.

• Annual case reviews to ensure fairness and prevent one-sided rulings from standing indefinitely.
