It was reported yesterday that Norfolk Councty Council is looking at a route 'alignment'.   Not much is know about it, and it is difficult at this stage to say  whether this is a significant change to the plan or a slight 'tweak'.  

David Pett of the SWL campaign commented as follows: 

‘Give how much time and money was expended on investigating route  options and selection, it is shocking and equally concerning to now hear of an intention to realign the route.    If as it seems there is to be a significant shift in the path then the Council needs to come clean and publish details of the new route.  We also need to understand how this impacts on the outline business case now with the Department of Transport.  We also need to know how much public money has so far been wasted on past surveys undertaken in relation to selected route C.  This presents as yet a further example of  the Council’s muddled and inept management of this project’. 

There is little doubt that this development would not have arisen but for your continued and wonderful support.
