The Issue

As a concerned homeowner on Frank Applegate Road, my heart aches at the thought of our peaceful, tree-lined street being transformed by the construction of a 50,000 square foot, two-story Yeshiva. This massive commercial structure threatens not only the aesthetic charm of our neighborhood but also poses potential changes that could impact the quality of life for everyone in our community.

Frank Applegate Road, nestled in Jackson, NJ, is more than just a residential area; it is our sanctuary. Each home, every tree, and all the familiar sights contribute to a cohesive community spirit that we cherish deeply. Introducing a massive building like this not only disrupts the residential ambiance but could lead to increased traffic, noise pollution, and a transformation of the community's character that residents, including myself, treasure.

Moreover, the sheer size of this project raises concerns about the environmental impact and strain on local infrastructure. Will our roads cope with the increased traffic? What about the impact on local flora, fauna and wildlife that call this place home? It’s critical to evaluate the broader implications of such a construction effort within a residential zone.

While we respect the desire for educational facilities, it is crucial that they are situated in appropriate areas that accommodate such structures without intruding upon existing residential peace. We urge local authorities to consider alternative locations for this Yeshiva that could meet the needs of its students while preserving the residential nature of Frank Applegate Road.

Our community's voice is powerful. We must stand united in protecting the integrity and tranquility of our beloved neighborhood. Please join us in opposing this construction. Sign this petition and help safeguard the unique character of our home. Every signature counts in making a significant impact.
