The long-standing Stobbart's Nurseries at 444 East Central Street is at risk of being turned into a 264-unit apartment complex. Changing the use of this property is more than just a shift in building plans; it impacts the residents of Franklin, MA. The town's local traffic will increase significantly, along with the possible strain on local resources and schools, as this new residential facility would invite hundreds of new residents. The open space that the Nursery currently provides that is adjacent to a public well would be lost forever allowing potential contamination of the well. 

This is our home, our community, and we need to have a say in its future growth and development.
