Hello everyone,
To everyone that has signed recently, I’d like to take a moment to thank you. You are helping make an impact one signature at a time. In order to get this petition to parliament we must receive 500 signatures minimum. You are now part of the growing movement to end the health care crisis!
Since the recent press release regarding the provincial governments response to the healthcare crisis I have done a lot of thinking about how and if I should respond. This is a very nuanced issue, and I have never claimed to be an authority on the matter. After all, I am just a regular person who happens to be a health care worker.
However, over the next little while I will be updating every second day with a breakdown of what has been said and how that affects us/the history involved. It is an overwhelming amount of information, as such I am aiming to help break it down into more manageable pieces.
I made this petition as a chance to get up and say something, and I won’t stop now. We have been discussing the effects of cuts to healthcare for years, and I can not allow this critical failure to go unattended. Neither should you.
As I move forward with these updates please feel free to come and comment on the update. Forward the emails you receive to friends and family, and help everyone understand the situation a little bit better.
Most importantly, please help me get more signatures however you can. I want to fight for us, for your loved ones, for my loved ones, and every person here in Ontario. We must not let the provincial government go unchecked and continue without accountability.
