Keep the Whites Wild has mailed a letter to the Coos County Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. The letter highlights our concern over harmful alpine development. The Waterman Fund, The American Alpine Club, The Access Fund, The Friends of Tuckerman Ravine, Friends of the Ledges, Protectors of the Amonoosuc River Corridor, and The New England Wildflower Society have signed in support of the letter. That’s right, folks. It’s definitely coming. We’re not exactly sure when, but we’ve compiled a mountain of information, some sensitive, that suggests a thorough and well supported effort.
