I have been a volunteer at Worthing Samaritans for 28years.  The central charity that oversees Samaritans have told us we must close at the end of November.  This has come as an immense shock to all of our volunteers and we are hoping we can reverse this decision which seems to us irrational and not justifiable. 

Worthing Sams has been part of our local community for over 50 years.  We take an active role in emotional support and reducing suicide. 

We have well over 100 volunteers who give their time help people when they are at their lowest.
