Dear petitioners, We wanted to share the recent events and the progress of our petition. 

Last week we had the opportunity to speak in front of the council and to present our petition and arguments.

We explained that their decision has impacted our lives with longer journeys during the closure hours, we also said that the lack of communication and engagement with the local residents was a failure from the council and also pointed out the poor implementation and the confusing and not concise signage.

The conclusion from this meeting was that our arguments and the petition will be taken into consideration when the final discussion regarding this scheme will be made in October 2024.

We would like to please ask and encourage everyone to let your voice be heard and influence this final decision. We need to make sure we are heard and our opinions are taken into account.
