Dear supporters,
Some updates on where we stand with the petition.
1. We had a conversation with the councillor who is in charge of the upcoming restriction, he does not feel the closures will impact the community as we argue. We have also argued for the lack of communication and the poor visuality of the restriction signs.
2. We are in the process of submitting our petition to the council to get our chance to argue also in front of a committee, however the head of the committee is the same councillor.
3. The restrictions will start tomorrow, Monday the 15th of April.
4. There is still some hope... the 18 months trial period can be reduced to 6 months (and hopefully then the closures will be cancelled), but for this to happen, we need to act!
- Please send a direct email to the councillors in charge of this decision, expressing your honest concerns. Do this as many times as you like (the more, the better!), this is your right!
