Every year, thousands of parents bring their children to Redhill Park to enjoy the paddling pool. This well-loved family activity has become a cherished tradition for many in Bournemouth, UK. However, due to Council cuts, we are facing our beloved paddling pool permanently closing.

The decision to no longer financially support BCP pools has been met with dismay by our local community. Redhill paddling pool is not just a place for children to have fun, it supports the local café.

We understand that budget constraints are real, but we believe there must be other ways to address these financial challenges without depriving our community of such an essential amenity. We urge the Council to reconsider their decision and explore alternative funding solutions.

Whilst the pool will open summer 2024, there's no secure future for 2025 onwards.
