Dear supporters,

On Monday morning I sent our petition to the Managing Director of Boots UK along with the many comments you have sent under the petition. The letter I wrote attempted to convey the strength of feeling in our town regarding the issue of keeping Farncombe Boots Chemist open. 

More recently, I was contacted by ITV News Meridian who were interested in filming a televised piece about our mission to save Boots in Farncombe. The reporter filmed with myself and a fellow Boots customer yesterday and the news piece will air live on TV this evening on ITV News Meridian. 

I understand that not everyone receives ITV Meridian News to their TV so I have been assured the video will be sent to me and I will then pass on the video and share it to anyone interested. 

I sincreley hope, that the media attention as well as our strong petition will have an influence on the Boots management and encourage them to rethink. 

If i hear any reply from the Boots MD Sebastian James, I will of course inform you all.
