Hi, everyone. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, dozens of calls to corporate, approximately 200 petition signatures, and conversations with management….Kroger corporate does not care about their customers.
We have heard their message loud and clear. They did not care to hear customer opinions, and their short sightedness should have repercussions. As explained by many, to corporate: losing just $100 a week in grocery sales from folks that shopped while visiting for food/drinks adds up to $52,000 a year! If that’s the same for 200 people who signed the petition, they’ll lose $10,400,000! Make them feel the pain, and vote with your dollars, friends.
We’ll be boycotting Kroger and hope that you will, too.
Kroger, you’re dead to us. Long live our many other options: Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Wegman’s, Publix, Aldi, Lidl, and even Food Lion. If you need a better selection of wine and beer, try Total Wine. We have options, and they didn’t think we’d choose them. Time to face the consequences.
Yes, they’ve destroyed a community and we’ll likely never get the same mix of folks, at a regular cadence like we did… but we hope to see you at Sedona Taphouse or Whole Foods in the future.
