This afternoon our petition addressed to the Prime Minister Theresa May MP hit an incredible 12,500 signatures ... but we need more !!!
For us to go back to the MPs at Westminster, and hammer home the injustice of this scenario we need many, many more signatures from you wonderful people.
We can't repeat enough how this is a genuine modern day case of David vs Goliath.
88 years of sporting heritage in the capital counts for nothing in the face of greedy developers. Galliard Homes original submission was for housing alone and was rightly rejected.
This application to bulldoze The Grand Old Lady of Plough Lane has only been approved under the provision of providing a football stadium for 20,000.
Has the capital not got enough football stadiums?
Does it really need another?
Should a respected piece of the capital's sporting heritage be demolished for already rich football and luxury apartments for overseas buyer?
We are saying NO!
