We did it, everyone! This evening, the LCPS Board voted 8 to 1 to change the cell tower policy 6350, meaning that cell towers will no longer be permitted on any LCPS properties where students are present. That’s right—no more cell towers on elementary, middle, or high school grounds until this policy is reviewed again in 5 years!
This monumental decision reflects the power of our voices and the strength of our community. They heard us loud and clear! Your support, commitment, and activism have made a real difference, and we should all take a moment to celebrate this significant win for our students and their learning environments.
Thank you for standing with us and making this change possible. Your passion and determination have truly created a safer and healthier school community for our children. Let’s take pride in what we’ve accomplished together!
