Here’s the update

The PTA was informative at most, no resolution, no real answers, just hopes and wishes. The CEO, Lashawnda Noel, being there offered little and was SILENT until called out. Unfortunately, her presence felt more of being the ear for the Board and to police the staff that were present instead of being an arm of compassion and truth.

We were told there will be an in-person board meeting, AS IT SHOULD BE, on April 28th at 5:30pm at Jacksonville Lighthouse High School’s MPR.

Parents, Staff, Community members, PLEASE show up. I will be there, as well as others that are just as upset about this as I am. 

We need over 500 signatures to show that we are not for this merger! 500 signatures shows that, at least, over half of the families involved in this are standing together!

We ARE going to speak more on this on the 28th. To help us we NEED more comments, we need more voices, we can be loud and mighty together!

I believe having over 500 signature shows that WE are united AND paying attention. Let’s be honest, this merger is shit and a money grab, something Arkansas isn’t new to.

I need as many to finish the survey here, Merge survey , made be the staff that IS fighting for us and JLCS. The more completed, the better our numbers.
