Dear friends,

Our campaign to redirect a small fraction of world military spending towards climate, health and prosperity is now entering its second phase: many have signed our appeal—including you!—, and now is the time for robust campaigning and lobbying. 

It will take years before an international agreement can be reached—and trillions are directed to addressing global emergencies, rather than to building weapons—, but we will get there. 

We have created an association in Geneva, Switzerland. You can read our statutes here and learn about our board here. This will be the vehicle for the campaign. 

I am writing today to ask you to join us. One way is by making a donation to our association if you can. So far our expenses have been paid by our founders, and a financial boost to take the next steps would be welcome.

Another is by joining us as a volunteer. Please get in touch (contact@peace-dividend.org) if you can commit a bit of your time and have experience with any or all of:

- Digital campaigning
- Fundraising
- Event organizing
- Social media management
- CRM
- International relations

All positions are pro bono and remote for now. When funding is secured, a permanent secretariat will be created with a paid staff.
