Does this new applicant’s request for a Special Use Permit make the previously ruled upon traffic and safety concerns as well as community character of this neighborhood somehow vanish now that a charter school(s) is no longer in the mix? Personally, I continue to struggle with that one given the proposed vast recreational build-out of the property in question. But… it’s not up to me. It’s up to the Board of Adjustment panel. My only hope is that they are sincerely uncompromised and truly believe in a fair and impartial process and ultimately rule accordingly.
