Stop the 5G Tower Construction on School Property and protect our children from the unknown effects 5G

We, the concerned parents, guardians, and community members of Union County, North Carolina, are united in our determination to safeguard the health and well-being of our children. We call upon the Union County Public School Board to halt the proposed construction of a 5G tower on the premises of Rea View Elementary School and not allow 5G Cell Towers to be Constructed on School Property.

Given the ongoing discussions regarding the science and health issues around the rollout of 5G infrastructure, more research is needed before our children’s health is potentially put at risk.

There is a growing body of scientific research emerging with evidence that human exposure to RFR (radio frequency radiation) from cellular phone towers causes negative health effects. Please see select sources on our research page.

The research is compelling enough that other school districts and communities have ceased and banned such towers on school property.  If you care about the future safety of thousands of children and staff members at our schools please sign this petition. 

Edited on October 5, 2023: The title and scope of this petition has been updated to "Union County Public Schools" as it was realized that Vogue Towers is targeting all of our Western Union County Public Schools as part of their strategic plan to place a cell tower on or in extremely close proximity to each campus in Western Union County and select locations in the Eastern part of the county. Please note, the most immediate schools to be affected are Rea View Elementary and Weddington Middle/High School.
