In just 24 hours, without a single physical flyer handed out yet, we have already gathered 84 signatures! For a commuter campus, this kind of immediate, organic momentum is huge. It proves that students are paying attention, and we are not going to quietly accept a $300 (150%) fee increase.

A massive thank you to everyone who has signed, and a special shoutout to those who chipped in money to boost this petition on Change.org. Your dedication is incredible!

Moving forward, please keep your hard-earned money. The absolute best (and free!) way to boost this campaign is simply sending the link directly to your classmates and group chats.

We have the administration's attention, but to actually stop this hike, we need to escalate our strategy. Here are your three next steps:

1. TAKE THE OFFICIAL SURVEY This petition is our public megaphone, but the official university survey is the actual ballot. If you have not done so yet, take the official "Student Fees Survey." https://tinyurl.com/csusb-ira-survey

2. BE OUR SOCIAL MEDIA ARM This is a grassroots, student-led effort. We don't have a massive campus marketing budget. We need you to be our algorithm. Take a screenshot of this petition, or copy the link, and post it to your Instagram stories Discord servers, club group chats, and any other forms of social media. Tag your friends. Tell them what is at stake.

3. SHARE THE POSTERS We have created fact-based flyers exposing the math behind this $300 hike. You can access and download the poster materials here:

If you have a printer at home, print out 5 or 10 copies. Hand them to your friends, leave them on tables in the Student Union, or post them on campus bulletin boards.
