The company's name was attached to a 12th July €725 race at Dundalk stadium - one of the worst tracks in Ireland for dog injuries and deaths. 110 greyhounds suffered injuries and 47 were killed by a track vet at Dundalk stadium over the past four years alone, sickening Irish Greyhound Board statistics show.
The hotel also sponsored a "Most Stylish Lady" contest at Dundalk stadium.
In a message to Carnbeg Hotel & Spa, ICABS highlighted the recent RTE Investigates programme which revealed that 6,000 greyhounds are killed every year because they're not fast enough to win races.
