A big thank you to U Learn English language school in Dublin for removing greyhound racing from its list of social activities.
The move came after ICABS highlighted the recent RTE Investigates programme which exposed the horrors of greyhound racing in Ireland, including the merciless killing of 6,000 dogs every year because they’re too slow to win races.
Responding, a school representative stated: “Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have removed the information from our website as we do not support any activities related to animal cruelty.”
Thumbs up to U Learn - “the only English school in Ireland rated 5 stars” - for this compassionate response.
