What if your ability to function in day to day life was locked behind a subscription service? Want to volunteer, work, study or even get out of bed without crying in pain? Pay $5 dollars. This is not a black mirror episode but the reality for Nerivio users. It's bad enough when car manufacturers put your heated seats behind a subscription service, now imagine it's your brain. 

I am a chronic migraine sufferer. The Nerivio device is one of the few things that has helped treat my pain, but the cost is high. Currently, I am limited to 18 treatments per device. This forces me to constantly decide if 45 minutes without pain is worth $5 dollars. No one should have to pay a subscription for their brain.

Nerivio Unlimited is rechargeable yet it requires scanning a QR code on a $89 dollar TENS unit pad to unlock treatments. TENS unit pads cost less than 50 cents each to buy on Amazon, but unethical software locking (NFT and an app) prevent us from using off brand alternatives. Theranica is bricking Nerivio devices for no practical reason in order to up their profit margins.
