Prior to Chris’s accident, there were no signs or warnings to drivers of the dangers of the road or intersection- though there have been 26 accidents in the last 3 years on this stretch of road, and other deaths at this tree. 

And while small steps have been taken to help make the road safer, it is not enough. Making the intersection at Pine and Walker a three-way stop will add another level of safety, and will help ensure prevent more accidents, or even deaths, at this tree.
