Hi my name is Pasqualina Porreca (Lina) I'm a student at Winman JR High, I've started this petition for all Students, Teachers and parents in my school that feel that the dress code at our school is out of date, and needs to be revised with student input. I personally have been effected by this, I was dress coded for wearing  spaghetti straps and made to feel ashamed of my body, I was pulled out of class for this, and feel the interruption has caused my friends and self to put the focus on our bodies NOT our education, a lot of my friends who've recently been suspended for which is  counterproductive to why we are at school to began with, we are they're to learn not to be belittled about our clothes. I understand there has to be rules, but this dress code is out of date and us students would like some input on said revised dress code. We would like for all students to come to school and not have to stress in the warmer months about what we are wearing. Please help us be the change.
