Dear Manatee County Commissioners,

We, the undersigned residents and concerned citizens of Manatee County and surrounding areas, are writing to express our strong opposition to the proposed construction of a road through and near Hunsader Farms.

Hunsader Farms is a beloved and valuable asset to our community. It is a place of natural beauty and tranquility, providing opportunities for outdoor recreation, agriculture, and environmental education. The construction of a road through this area would have significant and irreversible impacts on the environment, wildlife, and local community. It would also prevent Hunsader Farms from being able to park cars for their Annual Pumpkin Festival that has been a tradition since 1992.

We believe that there are alternative routes for the proposed road that would have less impact on Hunsader Farms and the surrounding area. We also believe that the benefits of the road do not outweigh the negative impacts it would have on our community.

Therefore, we strongly urge you to reconsider the proposed road construction through and near Hunsader Farms and to consider alternative routes that would have less impact on the environment and local community.
