My son has autism, and I am outraged by the attempt to mandate the use of Lupron for individuals with autism. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s misleading claims that Lupron, a drug known to significantly alter hormone levels, can cure autism by September is not only irresponsible but dangerous. As a parent, I am deeply concerned about the potential harm this could cause to individuals on the autism spectrum.

Lupron is a powerful drug primarily used for treating conditions like prostate cancer and early onset puberty by decreasing testosterone. However, many autistic individuals already have low testosterone levels, and imposing this treatment could lead to severe health consequences, including osteoporosis, cardiovascular problems, and infertility.
