The #Ysltrial online global  FAMILY grew as we watched in disbelief the longest trial in GA history. We witnessed Fulton County DA, Madame Fani Willis & a team of overzealous prosecutors use RICO to suppress the voice of Grammy-winning Rap Artist Jeffery Lamar Williams (aka Young Thug) & other rappers. The State alleged Jeffery ran Young Slime Life (a criminal enterprise) & indicted 28 co-defendants under State of Georgia RICO statutes & for 55 other alleged felony crimes. 

RAP LYRICS ON TRIAL Under RICO the State claimed lyrics are "overt evidence of conspiracy" & entered co-defendant's RAP LYRICS as evidence of crimes, for charges ranging from gang activity (e.g., Instagram posts, clothing, rap videos) to murder.

#ysltrial PROSECUTORS used RAP LYRICS to send a message that RAP=CRIME & by charging rap artists under RICO, the DA was tough on crime. Further, prosecutors weaponized & distorted rap culture by misinterpreting RAP LYRICS to fit their narrative that RAP = CRIME #ProtectBlackArt
