We had a misunderstanding today. I sat and waited in your office for 3.5 hours to see a lawyer. I need two certificates from you to correct a growing legal nightmare affecting The Tainan City (Republic Of China) government. You set the appointment on 19 Feb 2019. The appointment was for 2:15 pm on 26 Feb 2019.

Your staff also kept a foreign family with two young kids waiting 3.5 hours. When they were finished, they said to me, "We have to come back tomorrow at 2:15pm". I didn't ask why. The disrespect your office has demonstrated to me each time I ask you for help is a disgrace to idea of goodness.

Last year, your office even permitted a lawyer to resign. The lawyer demanded that my wife translate a legal document for me. My wife refused. I told the lawyer that it was not my wife's job to translate legal documents, and the lawyer claimed that I insulted her. You allowed the lawyer to resign because the lawyer was insulted that my wife wouldn't translate a legal document (and I complained)! But it's ok if you keep me waiting for an entire afternoon without even suggesting that I should come a different day?

Why was I kept waiting? Because your staff cannot read Chinese? In the future, I suggest we communicate via email. However, on 26 Feb 2019, your staff also politely suggested that writing things in Chinese is equally unproductive for me.

Your staff had me wait for 3.5 hours without seeing a lawyer. Your staff also did not tell me that no lawyer would see me. Your staff made the appointment for 2:15pm a week ago, and assured me that the appointment was to see a lawyer. Instead, your staff had me sit and wait for 3.5 hours and just waste my time. Did I mention that my purpose for seeing a lawyer today was to stop corruption in the Tainan City government?

Ironically, I am trying to stop corruption in your government, and your government refuses to help me? And then an official for The Legal Aid Foundation advises me to continue to apply to schools to be a teacher in Taiwan?

It is illegal for me to apply for teaching work in Taiwan because my criminal conviction in Canada is a sex crime according to Taiwan standards (Criminal Code Article 224). Now, I was wrongfully convicted. However, on paper, the conviction is valid. No school is legally able to hire me according to 中華民國補習及進修教育法第9條規定.

It is illegal for any member of the Legal Aid Foundation (and, in fact, anyone in Taiwan) to suggest that I break the law. I cannot apply for teaching positions while my Canadian criminal record exists, but thank you for the unholy suggestion. The irony of asking The Mormons for help is an insult to the Mormons. That is a criminal code violation because they are public officials for God.

We either work together to fix my criminal record, or, the government of Taiwan is irrevocably in gross violation of international human rights.

I thank you again for the suggestion to ask the Mormons for help. Honestly, I don't expect Christian Mormons will know a God who is willing to help me break the law, but I am willing to begin mediation with them to find out what their God will say about stopping corruption in the government of Tainan City.
