1. Meeting on 2/20
I would like to thank all of you for coming out, wearing red, and making signs. We are making waves and our representatives, from state and county, came along to hear us. After the meeting, I personally thanked Tony for meeting with us. However, they are business people and will continue pursuing the sports gambling venue in the location of Michael’s on the South River. And though, Leadbetter received a warm welcome from her old neighborhood, sadly she will not fully commit to our cause.
2. County Council Members
Leadbetter was transparent about how we can engage more fully in the legislative process. She explained, that all council members will vote on zoning changes and that all council members can introduce sports gambling ordinances. Please consider emailing your concerns, if you haven’t already, to the following council members.
District 1 Peter Smith (Chairman) petersmith@aacounty.org
District 2 Allison M. Pickard (Vice Chairman) allison.pickard@aacounty.org
District 3 Nathan Volke nathan.volke@aacounty.org

District 5 Amanda Fiedler amanda.fiedler@aacounty.org
District 6 Lisa D. B. Rodvien lisa.rodvien@aacounty.org
District 7 Shannon Leadbetter SLeadbetter@aacounty.org
3. County Council Meeting
