1. The glamping camp will increase traffic along the two-lane County Road,Everhigh Acres Road to Center Ave to Price RD, and throughout Hendry County roads that are already deteriorating and in need of constant repair.

2. The impact to the environment of development of this size includes deforestation, flattening and trampling on vegetation, chopping of branches for campfires, degrading, destruction of wildlife habitats and additional drainage of environmentally necessary wet lands. 

3. The size and the sheer number of vehicles including trailers, vans, cargo trailers, sanitation and maintenance, food service trucks would create dangerous and potentially deadly consequences.

4. The camp ground is not consistent with the neighborhood which are all permanent residents and Agricultural business owners. 

5. The development will have a substantial negative impact on the community because the proposal says 20 sites, a parking area. including 20 campfire sites will impact the safety of the surrounding areas - from wildfires to security.

6. The human waste for that density of people will have a substantial negative impact on the fragile environment.

7. The local Sheriff dept and fire department cannot meet the needs of an additional four hundred people without increasing our taxes to increase. 

8. This location is 20 miles from any local businesses that would be needed to support the vacationers needs.  Which mean the increase in local traffic will more than double in the neighborhood. Which increases the risk to the farm animals raised by many residents and to our children and pets. 

We are adamantly opposed to these commercial use developers exploiting the natural beauty, peaceful way of life, and solitude that we all cherish in Ladeca We hold the quality of life here in Ladeca very dearly and do not need the greed of land and business developers to disrupt, destroy, and pollute the environment as well as displace the wildlife of birds and land animals, that we are custodians for future generations to come.
