Kat here with an update on the Stanhope situation. The good news is that our petition now has 3,450 signatures -- THANK YOU, EVERYONE! We've also joined with other civic groups across Huntington who also face unwanted zone changes. As a larger coalition fighting these spot zoning developments, we will have resources, strategies, and numbers that town officials will NOT be able to ignore. But meanwhile, the Stanhope effort needs more support!

Huntington residents by the hundreds are needed to write to the town council politely expressing firm opposition to the Stanhope development plan. For contact details and suggested talking points, please email SAVESTANHOPE@YAHOO.COM.
