We, the students, parents, teachers, and concerned citizens of Nepal, strongly demand that the Government of Nepal immediately impose a complete ban on the operation and activities of all student organizations affiliated with political parties (Nepal Student Union, ANERASWAVIYU, Akhil Krantikari, and other student wings of various parties) inside any school, college, or university campus.

Why this ban is essential:

• Silence and neglect: When the government shoots and kills Nepali students, these organizations remain completely silent in their official capacity. They do not organize even a single protest or movement to protect the lives and right to education of their own members.
• Unnecessary politicization: Yet whenever any international issue arises (such as statements on Donald Trump, Venezuela, Palestine, or any topic desired by their parent party), they immediately shut down entire campuses, burn tires, block roads, and forcibly drag students into rallies.
• Education sector turned into a battlefield: They have transformed the education sector into a political battlefield. Strikes, violence, the use of muscle power during union elections, and pressure on teachers have become routine. As a result, the academic calendar is disrupted every single year.
• Poor students are the biggest victims: The heaviest impact falls on poor and rural students, who have only limited opportunities to study. Because of party politics, their future has been stolen.
• Schools and colleges are not recruitment centers: The education sector must remain independent, safe, and focused solely on teaching and learning. Political parties have no right to use our schools and colleges as centers for recruiting workers or as battlegrounds.

Our clear demands to the Government of Nepal:

1. Immediately ban all student organizations affiliated with political parties from every educational institution.
2. Permit only non-political, student-elected “Student Welfare Councils” (with no party flags and no external political interference), whose sole responsibility is to advocate for reasonable fees, hostels, security, scholarships, and better educational facilities.
3. Declare any form of political activity inside school and college campuses a punishable offense.

This step is not against student rights. It is to protect the fundamental right of every Nepali student to receive uninterrupted education.
