We have 2,500 signers so far and still growing! There is good news from the state of Indiana. Thanks to a concerned attorney in Adams County a pig wrestling event has been canceled. While this does not affect our efforts in Door County, we CAN work together to contact Door County District Attorney Ray Pelrine at ray.pelrine@da.wi.gov and urge him to step up and cancel the Valmy Mud Pig Wrestling Event because it violates Wisconsin's Crimes Against Animals Statutes, which states: "Mistreating animals. No person may treat any animal, whether belonging to the person or another, in a cruel manner. This section does not prohibit normal and accepted veterinary practices."
