It takes anywhere from 15 mins to 30 mins to cover a 1 km stretch from D-Mart to Gandhinagar signal on LBS Marg, even at 7:45AM in the morning. The reasons as observed and shown to Mumbai Traffic Police are:

1. Stopping of private buses for 5-15 mins (between Huma and Gandhinagar signal)
2. Non-monitored traffic lights at Huma signal (wrong side driving, non-compliance to traffic lights)
3. Long buses taking U-turn at Huma signal (road is not broad enough to turn at one go)
4. Availability of a single lane for regular traffic (parked private buses take up one of the two available lanes)

Law and rule abiding residents of Bhandup (West) and Kanjurmarg (West) suffer every morning due to the above. And we would like to appeal, with folded hands, to Mumbai Traffic Police to help resolve this daily hell that we go through.
